Over more than 20 years, SAIF Medical Group has grown from a small eye clinic into Uzbekistan’s leading ophthalmology center with branches in several cities.

Founding of the SAIF-OPTIMA clinic in Tashkent

SAIF-OPTIMA was the first in Uzbekistan to perform cataract phacoemulsification — cataract removal through a microincision without stitches. Before the clinic opened, no operations using this method had been performed in the country.
