Oculoplastic surgery combines reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the eye area. It restores the proper position and function of the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit, and also improves appearance.
SAIF OPTIMA surgeons correct upper eyelid ptosis, entropion and ectropion, and scar deformities, and perform blepharoplasty, chalazion and pterygium removal, strabismus surgery, endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), and reconstruction of the orbit and conjunctival cavity. Botulinum toxin is used to treat blepharospasm. Microsurgical technique ensures minimal trauma and a neat cosmetic result.
