Zakhidov Azizbek Bakhodirovich

Ophthalmic surgeon, Candidate of Medical Sciences, with more than 20 years of clinical experience.

In 2004, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of General Medicine of the First Tashkent State Medical Institute, majoring in “General Medicine”. In 2004–2006, he completed a clinical residency, and in 2006–2010, full-time postgraduate studies at the Academician S.N. Fedorov MNTK “Eye Microsurgery” (Moscow, Russia).

In 2011, he defended his candidate dissertation and received the academic degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. In 2008, he completed specialized training in cataract phacoemulsification at the WET LAB training center of MNTK “Eye Microsurgery” (Saint Petersburg). During his training, he completed internships at leading ophthalmology clinics in Germany under the DOG program.

Since 2012, he has been practicing at the Saif-Optima clinic.

He is a member of professional ophthalmological societies in Russia and Germany and, since 2015, has been a member of the “Scientific Avant-garde” research group of the Russian Glaucoma Society.

He regularly takes part in Russian and international ophthalmology congresses, conferences and symposia. He is the author of 19 scientific publications on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the visual organ.

Winner of the I Prize at the II All-Russian Scientific Conference of Young Scientists with International Participation “Current Problems of Ophthalmology”.

In his work, he combines many years of surgical experience, a scientific approach and modern international standards for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.
