How a contract for medical services is concluded
Online booking through the website helps you choose a convenient time for your visit, but it does not constitute the conclusion of a contract — the contract is executed directly at the SAIF Medical Group clinic after a consultation with a doctor and the determination of a treatment plan.
Steps of the process
- Registration at the clinic and verification of the patient’s details during the visit
- Doctor’s consultation, diagnostics, and determination of the treatment plan
- Calculation of the cost of services and familiarizing the patient with the terms of service
- Signing the contract for the provision of paid medical services and the informed voluntary consent to medical intervention
- Provision of the medical service according to the agreed treatment plan
- Signing the certificate of services rendered upon completion of treatment or a stage of treatment
What the contract contains
- A complete list and description of the medical services provided
- Cost of services and payment procedure
- Patient details and information about the service provider (clinic)
- Rights, obligations, and liability of the parties
- Procedure for amending and terminating the contract
The conclusion of contracts and the provision of paid medical services are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on consumer protection and on the protection of citizens’ health. For patients undergoing treatment under a medical tourism program, specific terms — timeframes, cost, patient support — are set out in an individual contract (see the “Medical tourism” section).
