Dental implantation: when it is needed and what to expect
An implant is not just about aesthetics — it is the health of the entire jaw. We explain who dental implantation is recommended for and how the procedure is performed at SAIF ProFace.
Tooth loss is not only an aesthetic problem. Over time, neighboring teeth begin to shift, the load on the jaw is distributed unevenly, and this leads to new complications. Dental implantation allows a tooth to be fully restored — from the root to the crown.
Who is dental implantation suitable for? An implant can be placed for almost any adult patient with one or more missing teeth. Before the procedure, the doctor evaluates the condition of the bone tissue and the overall oral health.
How is the procedure performed? First, a detailed examination and a 3D scan of the jaw are carried out. Then, under local anesthesia, a titanium implant is placed. After the healing period — from 2 to 4 months — a crown is installed.
Why titanium? Titanium is a biocompatible material that is not rejected by the body and lasts for decades. Modern implants are almost indistinguishable from natural teeth in both appearance and sensation.
At SAIF ProFace, dental implantation is performed by experienced maxillofacial surgeons using certified implants from world-leading manufacturers.
